Continuous Improvement

All of our work is subjected to a quality control process and the results are passed on to our glossarists, translators and revisers. Before the document is even assigned to a translator, the glossary is chosen, and, if necessary, new terms are added as required for that specific text. The glossary is then verified (QC1).

The document is then translated and also carefully reviewed by the same translator in order to improve the translation where necessary. Next, the translation is delivered to the reviser, who checks both texts (the original and the translation) and corrects any remaining errors (QC2).

Finally, the project manager verifies the formatting and other details (QC3).

The results of each QC are provided to each participant and recorded for inclusion in the database. This process of continuous improvement is a concrete example of our quest for excellence.

Our continuous improvement process follows the classic PDCA cycle - Plan, Do, Check and Act:

PDCA cycle

PLAN

Understand the customer’s objective. Plan, analyse and draft an action plan and allocate resources.

DO

Create and apply the appropriate methodologies, in accordance with the action plan.

CHECK

Periodically monitor and assess results both internally and with customers. Assess processes and results, compare with objectives.

ACT

Act in accordance with the assessment and the results obtained. Implement improvements. We apply this continuous improvement process to our activities in order to fulfil our overall quality targets:

"Zero errors, complete satisfaction"
